Is Go the Distance a waterproof mascara?

Go the Distance is a super water-resistant formula that will hold all day without smudging, flaking, or running (even through sweaty gym time!). Its unique tubing formula means that it won’t run through a teary-eyed cry sesh either, but will still be easy to remove when you’re ready to wash away the day. Waterproof mascaras often contain ingredients that can irritate sensitive eyes.

How do I remove Go the Distance Mascara?

Because of our unique tubing formula, to remove this mascara, simply rinse off with warm water or your favorite makeup-removing cleanser. You can use just your fingers, a damp washcloth, or cotton pads, too. The mascara will slide off each lash in little "tubes." That was easy, right?

Delivers on promises. My new favorite!

I've been using Go the Distance for about two weeks now, so I feel like I've had enough time with it to give a proper review. When I first applied this mascara to my lashes, the formula was a pleasant surprise. I'm very much used to the Thrive and Milani tubing mascaras, which are very wet. This mascara is more on the drier side, and applies more like a regular mascara. This results in better volume and separation, and has given me the best looking lashes I've had in a while. It does stay put all day without smudging or flaking (7am-8pm for me). This will be my new go-to mascara.

The only complaint is that removal took some finessing. If you touch your lower lids while removing, you may experience smudging. To remove cleanly, I bend over the sink and slide my fingers down my lashes with warm water, being careful not to touch my lower lids. Afterwards I proceed with my nightly facial clenser, and that removes any residue.

The search is over!

I’ve struggled for years—literally—to find a mascara for my sensitive eyes that didn’t flake, was waterproof/water resistant, was approved for contacts and dry eyes, and added length and fullness to my lashes. Easy and complete removal without residue or the loss of lashes was also critical because of my sensitive eyes. I’ve been looking for the perfect mascara since I was a teenager, so this is not age-related (I’m 60.) Well, the search is over: Alleyoop’s “Go the Distance” is the only mascara I will buy going forward. You just have to try it.

Best mascara ever!

I’ve been wearing other tubing mascaras for years. They always went on thick and were hard to remove. Not this one! It applies like a dream, looks lush but natural, stays all day and easy to remove at night.
